More bits, less money

Planning Add comments

I have updated the money page with pretty much everything I plan to get, the estimated price is higher than I thought but maybe I will be able to cut a few things down to reduce that.

There is still a few things I haven’t included which I will probably see at the sewing sewing shop and decide I need, like a rotary cutter and other tools.

The two big costs which I was forgetting about was the import fee’s and the nomex, those alone will probably break $2000

    Hi Nigel,

Thanks for that, I will look into them.

Are you still using Adam’s folder, I went to buy one and he told me I can’t get one until mid jan, so I need to get one from somewhere else, or make one.]

    Cheers!

    nigel.

$240 is a really good price I think, I am looking at $305 just for the materials plus I have to find a tool from somewhere.

How many wires was that? I need 20.

    My address is:
    Angus Peart
    Box 266
    Irymple, VIC

16 wires on mine, will post folder on friday,
half the gores joined, but went on holiday 3 months ago for a few weeks and havent been able to get going again, i really hate sewing !

  6. Angus Says:

16 wires makes it about, $15 per wire? If thats right then about $300 all up for mine, isn’t too bad.

What wire did you use? I am looking at some super flexible 7×19 (whatever that is) 3mm stuff.

I think I might be the same about sewing once I’m done :D
